Jitendra Kalra

Mr. Jitendra Kalra brings over three decades of leadership, governance, and organisation transformation experience across the public, private, and development sectors. He is widely recognised for designing and facilitating leadership development programmes for family business promoters, leadership teams, CXOs, and next-generation leaders. His work focuses on building cultures of accountability, collaboration, and effective communication, enabling organisations to achieve stronger business outcomes while strengthening long-term alignment.

Having coached more than 400 executives from family businesses, leading Indian corporates, and multinational organisations, Jitendra has worked closely with promoters and CEOs during critical organisational transitions from owner-led enterprises to professionally managed organisations with robust systems, processes, and leadership structures.

Earlier in his career, Jitendra served as CEO of Dr. Reddy's Foundation and later as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Reliance Foundation, where he led large-scale social impact and CSR initiatives. These leadership roles provided him with deep insights into purpose-driven governance, institution building, and the long-term stewardship of family-founded organisations. A 1991 batch officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), he also worked with UNIDO, leading capacity-building and leadership initiatives for family-owned MSME clusters across India and internationally.

Jitendra currently serves as Director at SIDBI and NABARD Foundation and continues to advise organisations on leadership, culture transformation, governance, and enterprise development through his association with leading national and international institutions
