Simran is known for her empathetic core and creative facilitation skills in resolving issues between family members, especially women in Family Businesses.  Simran’s focus areas include operationalization of the Family Council, leading small and large group NVC and Communication workshops and playing an integral role with our Partners in Induction of Next Generation in Family Businesses. 

Simran started out by training right under Mr Anil Sainani, Managing Partner at BAF, and has worked individually and alongside Partners with over 50 family businesses over the last 4 years. 

She takes the lead in content development around family and business constitution, writes contemporary articles and various case studies on family businesses who have successfully set up governance mechanism to grow and sustain their family and business.

She is a lawyer who has been interested in dispute resolution since her college days. She graduated from School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore. She was trained in Mediation and Negotiation Skills by one of the most experienced Mediators at the Supreme Court of India. 

She belongs to the 3rd generation of the Senani family business. Understanding the dynamics of a joint family and seeing difficult times as opportunities to strengthen family bonds comes naturally to her. She holds all the personal and professional lessons she has learnt very dear to her heart while growing up in her joint family and is devoted to facilitating creation of such empowering spaces for  members of other family businesses as well.
